Some Kind Of Awesome

Last night, Titus Andronicus frontman Patrick Stickles appeared on Tom Scharpling’s _The Best Show on WFMU _marathon, during which he premiered the band’s new single titled “Upon Viewing Oregon’s Landscape with the Flood of Detritus (Andronicus).” The song can be heard below at the 2:37:00 mark. According to Stickles, the song will be released as a split single with tour mates Diarrhea Planet, although there was no mention of when the single would be released. As well, Titus Andronicus’ long awaited follow-up to 2010’s _The Monitor _may see a release later this year.
