Some Kind Of Awesome

2012 has already been a good year for Bon Iver, with last year’s _Bon Iver _receiving Grammy love and the band performing on _Saturday Night Live _earlier this month, and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down one bit. Justin Vernon and co. have released another video from their acclaimed sophomore LP, with “Towers” receiving a visual companion. The video, directed by NABIL, follows a gruff, old man who lives in an idyllic world in the wilderness, albeit with imagery of towers everywhere he goes. Specifically, while walking along the beach, you can see imposing towers in the distant water, begging the question, what are they and why the hell are they there? Despite the lingering questions, give the video a watch and come to your own conclusions.

Along with the release of the video for “Towers,” Bon Iver have announced even more tour dates interspersed between the band’s insane festival circuit in the spring and summer.
